Blog Post # 5
I thoroughly enjoyed reading and watching these podcasts. I enjoyed listening to the Eagle Nest Radio podcasts. It amazes me how creative individuals can be when given the freedom. I learned the importance of "voice acting" in the Langwitches podcast. "Voice acting" engages the audience therefore enhancing your podcast. I also learned a lot from the Benefits of Podcasting in the Classroom podcast. If we allow our students to use technology in the class room there is no limit on what they can do with it. The sky is literally the limit. Podcast are an effective way of interacting with children outside of the classroom. If there is ever a day that a child is sick they do not have to fall behind. All they have to do it access the internet and watch the podcast. Podcast also encourage education and make the child want to learn. Technology is something we are used to and incorporate in our every day life, so why not include this in education? Another great thing about podcast is parents can stay on top of everything going on in the class room.

This is, I think, a summary of Joe Dale's comments on why podcasts are useful. What other,two things did you read/listen to/watch as part ofthis assignment?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about podcast being very useful to keep students from getting behind while they are out. This is very big issue for students who have difficulty in school. It is also very helpful to parents to be able to help their children at home.
